Theoretical Aspects of Ensuring Women’s Employment in the Context of the Digital Economy
Abstract
Achieving gender equality in society is one of the fundamental human rights, a key factor in ensuring peace and harmony, as well as a crucial element in unlocking human potential and ensuring sustainable development. The amendments and additions to the Constitution of Uzbekistan, along with the legal consolidation of the concept of Uzbekistan as a “social state” and the inclusion of gender equality issues in the newly revised Labor Code, serve as clear evidence of the positive steps taken in this direction. The introduction of gender legal expertise in legislative processes and the establishment of the gender audit institution represent significant progress towards achieving gender equality in the country.
